Since 1780 Indiana has lost an estimated 85 percent of wetlands to farm production which ranks it 4th among the 50 states in acreage lost. Mitigating land back to wetlands or prairies has become an increasingly important service that Slusser’s provides. We work closely with State/Local Agencies and Commercial developers to achieve a diverse balance of hydrology and plant life that is conducive to native wetlands and prairies.
